Name: Hoshigaki, Kisame Alias: Monster Of The Hidden Mist || Tailed Beast Without A Tail Gender:Male Age:32 Rank:Jounin || Seven Swordsmen Of The Mist || S Ranked Missing Ninja Affiliation:Akatsuki Blood type:AB Current occupation: Akatsuki Previous occupation: Seven Swordsmen Of The Mist
Appearance: Kisame is a tall shark faced monster standing straight at 6’2. he is a very muscular and strong shinobi and notably the tallest member of Akatsuki outstanding his own partner. Kisame in all aspects looks completely like a shark; he has pale blue skin, tiny white eyes and shark like teeth. Most notably he has a few gill-like facial structures on his face and he has pale blue skin. Being as he is tall, muscular and demon-like, Kisame is not hard to notice in a crowd which can be very irritating especially when you’re a shinobi, so Kisame with no objections wears the akatsuki uniform. Under the uniform he seemingly has no clothing on his upper body, while this is true Kisame wears forearm warmers and the akatsuki footwear accompanied with blue sweat pants. Kisame is very muscular and maybe the has the highest psychical capabilities in Akatsuki. While he is muscular and incredibly strong Kisame is a little slower then a few Akatsuki members but compared to a simple Shinobi he is incredibly powerful. Kisame wears dark purple nail polish just like itachi and wears the ring “South” on his left ring finger.
Kisame like mentioned before wears the Akatsuki uniform over his clothes. Unlike most akatsuki members Kisame’s uniform fits him just perfectly, but to most members the uniform is too big. Over his uniform Kisame wears a leather strap that holds his Samehada. On his forehead is his village forehead protector with a slit in the middle. His uniform is sometimes accompanied with a straw hat. His hair is dark blue a little darker then his skin and a unusually strange color. Height:6’2 Weight:162lbs
Personality:
Kisame is a childish and fun loving individual. Unlike most Akatsuki members Kisame smiles and laughs while holding a childish demeanor and never declining a chance to have fun. Unlike his partner Kisame loves traveling and most of all fighting. For Kisame there is no greater honor or fun to fight. But sadly his fights are usually cut short for he was paired with Itachi who never fights unless it’s necessary. As mentioned before Kisame is very childish and fun loving, besides that he is the friendliest member of Akatsuki always trying to cheer both his partner and other members up. While he is very friendly even Kisame has his limits, he will usually talk in a smart tone and make sarcastic comments that will usually make him smile. Kisame is old, his age gave him enough experience and knowledge about the world, and he is very good at giving advice and will always try to help Itachi get rid of his brooding mood.
Kisame is very loyal, to Akatsuki and to his partner. Him and his partner share mutual respect for each other and if the other asks something the other will try to help. Kisame and his team mate are very loyal to each other even though Kisame doesn’t know his real goal he realizes it’s not to help Akatsuki but does not mention it for the sake of their friendship. Kisame can also be very sadistic and cruel to his opponents or enemies, usually suggesting slicing off a limb or plucking out an eye to make them know their place. Kisame is quite the opposite of his partner in crime Tadayoshi, while Yoshi is calm, quiet and intellegent and sad Kisame is childish, fun loving and cheerful. Kisame has developed something of a fatherly admiration to his partner and always tries to look out for his friend telling him that they should eat and usually reminding him that he needs rest and not to overuse his chakra. Overall Kisame is a good guy unless you get on his bad side. Sadistic and yet loyal Kisame is perfect for the Akatsuki both in his personality and strength.
Kisame is smart; even if he doesn’t usually show it he has a great deal of knowledge in history of war and in the basic knowledge of logic and map reading. He seems to know his way around any forest or city and shows to have a great deal of knowledge in the land itself. Most notably he has a lot of experience in battle strategy and fighting, being able to wield the Samehada with exceptional skill.
History:
Kisame was raised in an orphanage as far as he could remember. He didn’t know where he came from out whom his parents were, the care takers of the orphanage told him he was simply found wandering on their doorstep. Since childhood Kisame had been made fun out of looking like a shark, kids threw rocks at him and splashed him with water and always called him “freak” Although this was the case Kisame was never violent as a childhood. His early childhood like mentioned was filled with teasing and rejection, to which Kisame quickly grew accustom to. Because of his childhood trauma Kisame tries to be friendly to people even if it fails miserably because of his appearance. He was enlisted into the Mist village ninja academy where Kisame quickly excelled his fellow peers and was moved to a genin at the age of 8. Kisame’s own team fell quickly as a burden to him because they didn’t move as fast and weren’t quick learners as him.
Kisame quickly gained a name as a prodigy doing huge amounts of missions and notably fighting a lot of opponents. Quickly at the age of fourteen Kisame had reached the rank of chuunin and quickly learned that people will respect them if they fear him, so he started training and outmatching his fellow peers, he showed great progress and was one of the most powerful shinobi in the mist village by the age of 18. His name was quickly driven into becoming stronger and stronger and finally passing the point where his own village started to fear him so much that they left the streets when he entered their village. Kisame had gotten an invitation to the Jounin test, one of cruelest chuunin gradutions, Kisame had to fight his team mates to the death to pass. Kisame quickly disposed of both his team mates with a rather easy fashion. After he completed his test the Mizukage offered Kisame to join the Seven Swordsmen of the hidden mist as they were lacking one member.
Kisame of course had accepted but he had no weapon to wield, the Mizukage gave him a selection of huge blades which Kisame declined and set out to gain the sword “Samehada” which was a legend about a sword that was at the bottom of the ocean. Kisame of course acquired the sword as he could breathe underwater without any real complication. Soon enough the Samehada accepted Kisame as its rightful owner and Kisame learned to wield it with incredible skill. All of the swordsmen were powerful fighters, but Kisame quickly saw how they were treated, nothing but dogs. The feudal lord sent them into missions he though would kill them on purpose. In four years that Kisame was a member of that organization members came and went soon enough a new member joined and it was a woman which was very unusual. Kisame held deep feelings for her, her name was Yamaka and Kisame fell in love with her. As they shared a mutual bond of respect and love for each other Kisame thought that he had finally found his place.
But soon a year later the feudal lord sent them into a mission to Konoha, it was here that they were ambushed, most of the members fled and became missing nin, Yamaka died trying to protect an unconscious Kisame. For his Kisame wanted revenge. He stormed the mansion of the feudal lord killing thousands of Shinobi and guards and the feudal lord himself. Kisame soon fled the village knowing that he became an S ranked missing nin after assassinating the feudal lord. For the next two years Kisame held countless attacks on villages and outposts in the mist village. His power was incredible and Pain found him and offered him a position in Akatsuki. Out of hatred and spite Kisame accepted the invitation and became a member of Akatsuki.

Samehada
Unlike a regular sword, Samehada is covered in large scales that shave or shred any surface instead of cutting it, much like a shark's skin - hence the name, and has a small skull at the tip of the handle. It is usually wrapped in bandages. The sword is able to stretch and bend, allowing Kisame to swing it at his targets like a flail. During his fight, Kisame unraveled the bandages around the blade to reveal Samehada's true form: the scales grew longer and opened outwards, the hilt elongated itself, and the weapon opened a razor-teethed mouth at the end. The more chakra it absorbs, the larger it gets.
Samehada, aside from shaving the opponents, has the ability to quickly consume the chakra around it, allowing Kisame to literally cut through his opponent's chakra, this ability is particularly useful when fighting Jinchūriki as Samehada is a perfect counter against their massive chakra supplies as well as being able to drain their chakra cloaks. This ability can be used even if the sword is still wrapped in bandages
The chakra it absorbs can heal what are otherwise fatal wounds, which can also be used to give its wielder (Kisame) near limitless stamina. Besides leeching the chakra of his opponents to keep his strength in proportion with their's, Kisame can also fuse with Samehada. The resulting transformation stresses his shark-like appearance, effectively making him a "tailed beast without a tail". In this form, due entirely to Samehada's presence, Kisame can not only sense an opponent's chakra but any direct contact made with his skin will also result in the absorption of the perpetrator's chakra. In order to conduct attacks, Kisame can forcibly extend various spikes from the pectoral fins present on either of his forearms. Samehada is also a sentient weapon, that along with being able to sense chakra levels, only allows Kisame to wield it. In the words of Kisame, "It acknowledges only me." When another shinobi attempted to wield Samehada and use it against Kisame, it responded with a flurry of spikes protruding from its handle, thereby injuring his hands, and returned back to Kisame. Being a chakra sensing weapon, Kisame claims that Samehada is attracted to intense chakra, such as Jinchuuriki’s. Samehada is noted to be in a pleasant state while engorged with copious amounts of chakra, and can even move on its own accord to evade attacks.

Roleplay Sample:
There he stood, the largest member of Akatsuki, and arguably one of the most powerful, having placed himself just inside the tower that served as Akatsuki's base of operations, despite rarely ever actually meeting there. The shark-nin was soaking wet, thanks to the constant rain that never stopped falling in the village. Sighing heavily, Kisame retracted Samehada from his back and rested its tip against the ground, letting it sit against the wall. As the water dripped off his skin and robes, he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned back against the wall. There was nobody else here yet, but he would be patient and await someone, hoping for it to be Itachi if anyone. While most would be annoyed by the constant rain, Kisame found it rather relaxing, seeing as he was unusually at home within the water, and despite coming from the opposite direction, it was still the same.
He stood for several minutes before his mild impatience began to kick in, sighing once more before his loud voice rang out "Anyone here?" He asked, wondering if anyone was up further within the tall compound and unaware of his presence. Though, within Akatsuki, it was damn near impossible for them to go unaware of one another, especially when Kisame had more chakra than even most of the Jinchuuriki that they had captured. The one exception, however, was Zetsu, though, that half-twin plant man was too sneaky for his own good. Kisame glanced down at his left hand to look at the ring that had adorned the ring finger for quite some time now, the red metallic surface gleaming ever so lightly in the dim light within the building.
He let his hand fall before tucking it into his arm again, crossing them over as his chest as he began to wonder, the silence and boredom of the moment forcing him to become victim to the random thoughts within his mind. Ever since Itachi had said he sensed something strange, he had been acting slightly different, especially with news of his brother. He was aware that the powerful Uchiha was a loner with no feelings or ties to a village, but he could tell that the younger male expressed those very feelings that he tried so often to keep hidden. Pondering, he shrugged his shoulders and sighed, knowing she should not think too deeply into any of it. Itachi was not only powerful, but a mature and sophisticated man who had a shroud of mysteriousness to him that nobody could truly figure out. It was those things that led Kisame to respect him so much, and be so loyal to him. Mentally shrugging once more Kisame looked around again, hoping someone would come and give him something to do.
Silence yet again, not even a single word from anyone. The train continued to fall outside making the streets flood with water. Kisame actually didn’t mind the water, on his clothes, on his skin. It felt refreshing and cool, helping him relax from a day’s journey. Of course Kisame would have felt much better if his comrade was here with him rather then running off somewhere and not returning for days. Kisame sighed once again, his eye’s scanned the room and called out once again for someone “Hello?” his voice was loud and clear. He made no sound for a second waiting for someone to reply, but no one did. Soon enough he started to sense chakra, of course his Samehada would like a treat but this chakra wasn’t a simple ANBU or Shinobi, it was Konan, as always sitting in the tower with Pain. Kisame held no great respect for Pain but acknowledged his power and skill.
But konan was another deal; she spoke with respect and showed loyalty and companionship to every Akatsuki member. Kisame respected people who could hold their mentality even when he situation looks grim. The demon slowly made his way up the stairs before hearing a conversation in root; it was Konan and Pain talking about something. Kisame without knocking opened the door and saw another member with them, Zetsu. Kisame grinned widely and spoke “Hey, what did I miss?” Pain turned his head to him and asked loudly ”Where is Itachi? the question was clear to Kisame but he had no answer, fearing for his partners safety Kisame lied “Coming, we had a little detour but he’s on his way” Kisame hoped so, because if he wasn’t both of them were in serious sh*t.
