Akumu Kadou (nightmare vortex)
This kekkei enters the darkest corners of the victim's mind and learns their deepest, darkest fears, then creates illusions of those fears- thus paralyzing the victim with fear. It then uses the user's chakra to ravage the internal organs of the victim in a slow and painful death.
However- this requires so much chakra and stamina to preform, that it almost always ends in the users death within an hour after use- unless given immediate medical attention. Even the most skilled Jonin, Anbu, and S rank would fall victim to this deadly side-effect.
Other side effects of this kekkei are from merely HAVING this kekkei. One effects the appearance of those carrying this genetic trait- giving them blood red hair and eyes, and deathly pale skin. And oddly enough- they always wear black... The reason is unkown they just.... do. Another is... Well... Almost everyone who has had this bloodline limit has died before the age of 20. It's almost like this Kekkei Genkai is cursed. And their fate often is related to their names. Examples?
Two generations ago, there were twin girls born with this Kekkei. Their names were Netami and Kokuzoku. Envy and Traitor.
They were close, closer than anyone could imagine. However, Kokuzoku always came up short to Netami in every way, and eventually, Kokuzoku became jealous and envious of Netami and soon even spiteful of her sister. Then, one night, while all were sleeping, Kokuzoku slew Netami in her sleep, and made it look as if she were murdered by a rouge ninja. Kokuzoku's crime went unknown for 4 years, long enough for her to have a child. A daughter, to be exact.
Then, an incriminating piece of evidence was discovered, and Kokuzoku was put to death for the murder of her sister.
Kokuzoku's daughter was named Shinu Isagiyoku. To die Bravely.
Shinu was saddened to lose her mother at such an early age, but did not let that bring her down for too long. As she hit her teen years, she had already become a beautiful young woman- who attracted the attention of many a man. But all were turned away. Time and time again she refused offers for love and courtship, until she was asked by a young man known as Maito Gai. He had asked her to be his girlfriend- and in the most comic of ways at that. Most expected a hasty rejection, and all were shocked when she accepted. The two became an item at the age of 13 and married three years later at the age of 16. By the time they were 18, the had a 2 year old little girl, named Murder, though everyone knew and called her as Kuro.
Shinu was murdered by an unknown assassin, in a valiant fight to save her daughter's life.
Kokuzoku and Netami were 13 when Netami was betrayed by her envious sister. Kokuzoku was 19 when she was put to death for the murder of her sister.
Netami's name meant envy- and the envy of her sister is what killed her.
Kokuzoku's name meant Traitor- and as a traitor to her sister, her family, and her village she murdered her sister. That betrayal is what inevitably killed her.
Shinu Isagiyoku's name meant to die bravely- and she did. She died bravely giving her life to save her daughters. She died just before her 19th birthday.
Murder aka Kuro is still alive. Her fate? It is yet to be determined.
And if you'll notice- all of these people were female. No males have ever been born with this trait and curse- and none ever will be.
A couple more side effects- though, these are positive ones. Taijutsu. Taijutsu skills are often enhanced by this kekkei, making every carrier of this trait a beast in strength. The other? While one with the Akumu Kadou can be ensnared in genjutsu, it is easily detected, and therefore easier to break out of.
Jutsus and techniques of the Akumu Kadou
Akumu Meimu (nightmare illusion)
Genjutsu.
A lesser version of the Akumu Kadou.
Like the kekkei, the jutsu known as the Akumu Meimu invades the dark corners of the mind that one seals off to even themselves and learns the things they fear the most, and creates illusions of that fear- paralyzing the victim with fear. However- to prevent the user's death, the Akumu Meimu does not use chakra to destroy the enemy from the inside out. This is merely a tactic used to buy time- and possibly make the victim's mental health something to worry about, as this jutsu has been known to mentally scar people for life.
Kage Bakuha (shadow blast)
Swordplay.
Only mastered by Chunin or higher.
The blade- which has been passed down through the family- becomes one with the shadows and a small amount of chakra and engulfs the blade in flame-like shadows. When touched- the shadows even burn like fire, but they cannot be extinguished unless cut off from the chakra supply. There are two things the user can do with this swordplay.
1) Fight like normal with a flaming blade. Does double damage when the enemy is struck.
2) Give up a little more chakra and send the dark flames hurtling towards in a high-speed blast.
Chi no Ken (blade of blood)
Swordplay.
Only mastered by Chunin or higher.
When the blood of the user comes in contact with the blade- it seeps in and turns the blade red. The blade then becomes strengthened tenfold- as do the attacks using the blade. But only for a short while, as it does harm to the body if used for an extended period of time.
Kiku no Muzai (fear of innocence)
Genjutsu.
Can be mastered by Genin- though it takes a lot of practice.
Like the Akumu Meimu and Akumu Kadou, this jutsu works within the mind of the victim however, it does not invade to discover the fears of the enemy. Instead, if you were to be caught in this Genjutsu, your mind would be instantly drawn into a dark forest, most would even go so far as to call it Hell's Forest, where the sky is red as blood and the trees are black as sin, and go on for miles and miles. You would wander aimlessly for what seems like forever until you came to a chapel that is in so much decay it is barely recognizable as what it used to be. There you meet a little girl- her eyes are closed and she wears a white dress. She's crying, and you wonder why. The longer you stay there and watch, the more the scene changes. The girl's once pure white dress has now become stained with blood- and so has the side of her face. She opens her eyes, only for you to find that they are completely red. No, even the white of the eye is red. She once looked sad and innocent, but now she is grinning insanely and has every aspect of evil surrounding her. Suddenly you are surrounded by millions and millions of little girls just like this, and they are all holding butcher knives. You may try to escape, but you feel as if you can't move and even if you can you always return to the same place. The scene ends right as the children lunge at you and then it begins again. There are only two ways you can be freed.
1) The user releases the jutsu
2) You manage to focus long enough to break the jutsu.
