Soft soft steps shuffled against the smooth ground, walking within the shadow of a large gate. It reached over the young shinobi's head, spitting out a shadow from the sun's rays. The blue sky stretched over head, reaching out to the horizon. Soft clouds speckled the sky as the young girl stepped on the ground of the Land of Waves. The runaways from their mother village, Konohagakure. They lived under the peaceful rein of Lady Tsunade with her trusted friends under her. This is where the hope nest, and where the allience of Sunagakure rest. Yuko was sure she'd be okay coming, since the small village had strong ties with the Sand. Her light dark green, and black draw string bag was nestled inbetween her shoulder blades. Her bare back was exposed, along with the side of her torso, with the warm sun heating up her skin. Her brown eye over looked her surroundings, watching young children run past her to go play. A soft smile hovered over her soft features, her honey, mocha eye looked on infront of her. Her hood framed her face, with her scraff hanging around her throat. The fabric gathered at her shoulders, as her arms started to swing past her. Quietly, she walked down the peaceful street, with a soft smile hovering over her features. Carefully, she pushed her hood back, letting her long hair on one side, drop down to her back. Her mowhawk bounced with each walk, with her sandy hair brushing against her tanned skin. Yuko's bare feet moved across the ground, her bandages around her feet starting to become slightly dusty from her traveling. The sand ninja hummed lightly to herself as she passed by small shops. With out thinking, she flipped over to balance on her hands. Her toes pointing in the air as she walked on the palm of her hands. It was second nature, and found it much easier than walking on her feet. Yuko's double bandaged hands went on with out getting hurt. She flipped her feet back to the ground, finishing her backflip. A cheek to cheek smile flashed across her face as she performed four cartwheels for who ever maybe watching. She always wondered what it would feel like to roam with the circus. Yet, she felt complete as a shinobi. The air, and weather made her feel light at air. It was nice to get in different surroundings than the hot, dry heat of the desert. Little Yusu went back to walking in a hand stand, going on down the street ignoring those who stared.

Naruto Uzumaki had just a stomach full of Ramen and was rubbing his belly in contentment. People waved at him and he nodded his head as he kept up a brisk walk through the village's many stores. Each store had an arranged item of things going from weapons to clothing. Looking at his orange jacket with a white collar he knew he still had many years before he stopped growing. The ryo in his froggy bank had a lot of money from saving, but, he didn't want to waste it on clothing. The essential for a ninja was to be fully stocked in weaponry, and, he currently had a full stock of Kunai and Shuriken. Exiting the store he heard a hubhub of commotion and wondered what was happening. The last time there was this much excitement it was when the Hokage had stood tall and proud among spectators saying this was their new home.
Being smaller then most Ninja his age he had to push his weight just to get past some overweight ninja. They grunted, but, he squeezed through in time to see a girl walking on her hands. Bushy Brow's sensei would flip over this, he thought, he'd probably up and join her with a youthfilled fire in his eye. Holding in his laughter he watched the crowd stare after her then finally disperse to return to their jobs. Naruto's curiosity got the best of him and he followed behind her. Then another crowd came and he was shoved onto his butt. "Ouch, watch where you shove those things," he said mentioned the butts that pushed him. This was getting him no where...he needed a plan.
I got it, he thought with a devious look in his blue eyes. If this didn't work, all his thinking would be for naught. "Guys and women of all ages, step right up and see Maito Gai and his protege Lee as they compete in squats while...cheering each other on." I know I should've used my sexy jutsu, he thought, but then I'd have the pervy sage in here as well. Jumping out of the way as the crowd stormed his way he climbed up the wall applying chakra to his feet. Landing on the roof he followed the girl and stopped at the edge of the roof carefully.
"Your new here aren't you?" Naruto folded his arms over his chest and looked down at the girl with a smile.

Of course people wanted to come see the circus act. She did enjoy being that one show off in the crowd of course, but after awhile it got annoying. They slowly went back to work, not paying her anymore attention. As soon as she rounded the corner more people gathered to catch a glimpse. Her feet padding against the layered dirt. She was paying more attention to the weather than anything else. Her eyes glanced at the sky, watching the clouds drift by slowly. The breeze rustled the features in her hair, her many layers of hair moving and twisting in the wind. Yuko suddenly snapped out of her site seeing as she heard a crowd of people rush the other way. She raised her right eyebrow out of curiuosity for what happened, but she payed little mind to it. Her went along with her buisness, but soon someone called out to her. The shinobi stopped and looked over her shoulder to see a boy standing on the end of a roof. A smile flashed across her face, as she caught a glimpse of his bright yellow hair and the blue eyes that rested on her face. She lifted her right hand and waved, balancing against her left palm. She bent her elbow and pushed off the ground and into the air. Yuko performed a quick backflip towards the young boy. A wide grin flashed across her features as she shot towards him. Playfully, she tired to bounce of his head with her right hand. She landed behind on, making a soft thud against the roof as she looked at the young shinobi. The wind rustled her hair as she smiled, to trying to move it out of the way. Oh, I'm just traveling from Sunagakure, I'm not staying her permently. I'm Yuko Yashikazu, a shinobi from the sand and you are?
((OOC- Not so good :/ but it'll do.))

Naruto watched her curiously and wondered who she was. There weren't that many visitors these days to the liberation camp, so, hence why he was a tad cautious. War was always on the horizon, and, most Genin were prohibited to leave the village without a sensei or a squad. The only sights he could see consisted of the make shift ramen shop, his bedroom which he shared with Kiba, and the hot spring which the pervy sage tried to convince him was part of his training. The liberation camp didn't used to look like this, in fact, it used to be crippled as it was the land of waves. Grandma Tsunade wanted this place to be something else, so, some actually forgot what it used to be, or about that old Geezer who had high hopes of his own, some guy named Tazuna.
Naruto watched the girl balance on one hand and then she took to the air like it was a feat anyone could do. Naruto gawked in wonderment and craned his neck to see her spin right over his head and land behind him. Blinking his eyes a few times he slowly turned around and tried to close his gaping mouth. As she spoke, she mentioned the land of sand, quite a distance really from there. The land of sand was an ally of theirs, so, no need to sound the alarm or grab the nearest jonin nearby.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki," he said with a smile, "I happen to live here along with the rest of the shinobi. How are things going in the sand these days?" Naruto took a seat on the edge of the roof and stared up at her curiously. Anything about the outside world peaked his interest. The moment she flipped in the air however, his undivided attention was set on her.
(Its alright, great post)

Yuko smiled, tilting her head to the side. You had no hope of telling she had a short fuse. With this small shinobi, her bite was worse than her bark, and her bark was still something to be afraid of. The short female was only a few inches taller than Naruto-kan, but wasn't the one to get upset. Oh yes, she's just a ball of fun. This was a unigue one, fairly like Uzumaki Naruto. She stood infront of the blond boy, placing her right hand on her hip. The wind rustled the green, black, and snow colored feathers. She was curious about this boy, he had a sense of confidence about him that she admired. Her facial kept it's friendly smile, pulling up her cheeks as he announced his name. Yuko laughed, spreading her lips over her teeth. She waved with her right hand, and let it drop back to her side. It's nice to meet you, I wish you the the Liberation Camp much success by the way. Oh, and the Sand is doing fine. No trouble has came up, so I took a little "vacation", if you will and came to see our brothern in the Land of Waves. The Sunagakure shinobi walked over with her hands swing loosly at her side. She placed her hands against the roof where Naruto was siting. She looked over the village, her eyes taking in the blue of the water along the banks. It was peaceful, she liked it here. In Sunagakure, everyone was all jittery back home. Yuko got tired of everyone worrying, she liked living a care free life much better. Still, she'll give her life for the village, and would rush back in a heart beat if any trouble arose. Even now, she worried a little. It's nice here. I still wonder if I was wrong to come... Now that I look more at the reason from me coming, it seems like I'm turning my back on them. What do you think? I felt tired of everyone being all hyped off of worry, that I just couldn't take it... I guess the stress was getting to me, I'd feel aweful if something happened in my absence... Yuko had closed her eyes her noise taking in the slight breeze. She caught the salty air threw her noise and it flowed down her throat. It was different from the dry, gritty air that she has been breathing since birth. Quietly, she opened her green eye, shifting her view over to the young boy with a soft smile. Sighing, she shrugged and used her arms to lift her off the ground. Yusu slide her legs inbetween her arms so she could sit on the edge of the roof to, but she faced in the opposit direction of Naruto. Like a bored child, she kicked her feet out, and let them swing back to the way. She watched her bare feet dissappear, and reappear from behind her knees. Her eyes gleamed in the sun as it graced her tan skin. Another smile pulled at her cheek bones, flashing her teeth at Naruto. I'm bored! You're the native here, what's there to do around here! There must be something fun to do, my little baka. she said in a playful tone. Yusu placed her hands behind her head, her grin flashing wide.

Naruto smiled at her comment. Yes, the liberation camp was a nice place to be. It had been his home for so long, that well, he couldn't call any place else home. The place had a kind atmosphere and could turn the tide with a deadly wave of attacks in the heat of battle. They were trained shinobi, so appearances, he was taught were meant to lure a person into a false calm. This place often saw a lot of people from neighboring villages or far away ones, so, the Anbu were always trained for the inevitable. The Genin here were also trained for an attack, though, most of the time their instructions would be to hide and only assist should the wave turn on them. They lived in the former wave village, so, using waves in speeches was typical for most students. Naruto watched the girl curiously and was glad the sand village in the land of wind was doing so great. It would suck if an attack were to occur there, and that was only on account of them being so far away.
"Its alright," Naruto said, "everyone feels the stress from time to time. Getting away from home is one way to cope with it, though, I'm not really one to speak. I haven't set foot out of the Liberation Camp because the Hokage here instructs most Sensei to only allow a student out on a mission and it usually consists of a 3 man squad with a Jonin to assist. Turning your back means not even having second thoughts, and since you are, it clearly means your still loyal to your village. Besides...it isn't like this visit is permanent and all." Naruto smiled and felt the wind stir along his yellow spiky hair. It was often humid, he heard from passing sand ninja; who often talked of their home while eating ramen at Ichiraku.
Naruto thought over her question and looked down at the street below them. "Well...there are some statues we can graffiti. Or we could...hm...show each other our jutsu...or...whatever you want really. I've heard the sky is the limit, and if that is the case, any game you want to play that you can think of, well, I'm game too." Naruto often found himself studying scrolls, training, stuff like that; so most of the games were often left to when he wasn't busy. Much like most of the Genin, war was always the news and gossip. Nothing brought him down though, he was still the number one hyperactive knuckleheaded ninja; as nicknamed by the Pervy Sage.

The young woman looked back over to Naruto, a smile warming her soft features. His words made her feel better. If she was spending her time worrying, than who her alliance is with is more than clear. Her gaze shifted off into the distance, taking in the landscape while her fingers drummed along the hard surface. She kept the beat steady as she thought endlessly. Her different colored eyes didn't hold hold focus for long, as their line of sight shifted and changed. Yusu breath in the air that lifted off the breaking waves. It moved her bang, and it just swayed freely. She quickly snaped out of her thinking. A wide grin shot across her lips. She crossed her legs under her, hanging off the edge of the building. Her go-to spirit bubbled up, she placed her left hand above her knee. She lifted her balled up fist in to the air and started to yell. I say we have a battle, to see what genin are made of this days! Or are you a chunin? She slowly stood up, standing on the tip of her toes against the edge. Quietly, she dropped off the edge and landed with a soft thud. The bandages wrapped around her feet added some protection against the pebbles. Smiling she started to walk down the street.

Naruto would love to fight...but...today just seemed like an off day. For starter he hadn't learned a new jutsu since the basics taught to him by the pervy sage. The other thing was he just wanted to hang out, do stuff and be reckless. Following Yusu as she jumped off the building he twisted his body in the wind and landed a few feet from her. It was hard to let her fighting spirit down, but, there weren't a lot of places for them to fight here. The liberation camp was on edge with battles, and training was usually consisted of jonin outside the village gate under certain restrictions. Naruto cleared his throat and ran a nervous hand through his yellow hair.
"Um...about fighting...as much as I'd love to...why don't we just hang out some more. I am just a genin, and I would love to rustle it up some, but...everyone is on edge here. Any fight of any kind will send people into a frenzy. I've been given orders by Grandma Tsunade to not conduct any fight of any kind without a jonin watching over it. Kiba and I did that once, boy, was Grandma mad. So...the second time I thought with the Pervy Sage nearby it would be alright, as it was just me and Shikamaru...but then the Pervy Sage went to research and...I got in trouble and not Shikamaru..."
Naruto even then felt like Grandma was watching him intently. At least painting the statues with grafitti would be safe as it would get people gawking, but not alerting any jonin to their mischief. When the Chunin exams came up...he'd prove his all in the competition. For now, he still had more training to do in order to become stronger. I must look like a fool in her eyes now, he thought, but things have become stricter since the war brewed into our area.
